How to delete columns SIMS 4 console, xbox and PS




The Problem:

Can't delete columns [Console]

This problem was resolved for PS4 version but works the same for the xbox. I came across this problem myself and it was good to know that i wasn't the only one that found those columns frustrating and had houses full of hidden columns for ages.

"I've had this issue for a long time but I've ignored it for the most part. When trying to renovate existing builds, whether made by EA or placed from the Gallery, my game disables the Sell/Delete button when clicking on Columns. I've tried everything with no luck. Does someone know of a workaround that I'm missing? Any help would be appreciated."

The Answer:

For some reason, you can only use the sledge on columns.

Also, you can only copy/place multiple normally (pressing y/triangle) in the columns menu. If you’re out of it, the game will instead use the copy texture tool.

I’m becoming pretty good at building on console, but honestly, the menu and the way it works half the time is bullshit.
